The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of children.
This position requires excellent communication skills, creativity, patience and the ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans and activities that are age-appropriate and meet the needs of the children.
Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
Observe and document children's progress.
Communicate with parents regarding their child's development.
Model positive behavior and social interaction skills.
Implement positive behavior management strategies.
Collaborate with other teachers to plan activities and lessons.
